A conceptual design based on a short screenplay by Erika Kennedy. Brain in a Vat is a bold fusion of Art Deco opulence and German Expressionist distortion. The film’s apartment is a lavish Deco penthouse, contrasted by a mirrored laboratory that warps perspective and mood. A key highlight is the connecting hallway: a disorienting, dreamlike transition space designed to blur the boundary between elegance and psychological horror.
